Ric Flair def. Sgt. Slaughter in 6:18

This was after Flair lost the WWF title to Savage at Mania and not long before Slaughter was done as a full-time performer. You can tell the way Slaughter posted himself and the height on a Flair backdrop that these two probably wished they had a big match in their primes. Because the match was so short, they got in everything they could and worked a brisk pace. Unfortunately for everyone, the Mountie was working a program with Slaughter, and the primary focus was on him setting up and using this super shock stick, which he eventually did. This match would have been a ton of fun with five more minutes and Jacques Rougeau not in the building, let alone something getting 15-20 minutes in the 80s on a big show. **
