The Context 

Here we have Greg Valentine talking about working with Rick Rude in the Carolinas when Rick was still an enhancement talent. He said that he didn’t find out until years later, when they were in the WWF, but Valentine ruptured Rude’s left testicle during a match. Valentine talked about how tough it was to take the move, and how bad he felt. 

Analysis 

I’m not sure why Valentine would lie here, but who the fuck knows. It doesn’t make him look like a tough guy, and he genuinely seemed to feel awful. I wonder if Rick sold it the way he would atomic drops.
