The Context 

Here we have Bob Holly saying that he hated The Kliq, which is pretty standard for the era. But in case that wasn’t enough, he says that he would like to slap Scott Hall right across his face. He says he wasn’t sure if they ever played politics with his career, but only because you never knew what was going on behind closed doors with them and Vince. He said Shawn was really “messed up” and “strung out” at the time, and also that he and Shawn talked about their issues in the past. He said the only thing keeping him from killing Shawn at the time was HBK’s power in that era. 

Analysis 

All of this was before Scott Hall’s death, but the feelings definitely track with a lot of other people’s from that time. Ah, the ol’ days.
