06/27/2005 WWE Raw: Kurt Angle def. Ric Flair in 7:13. Yes, it’s two of the very best ever to do it. The problem is Flair was long past his prime, and they were getting seven minutes on a random Raw. Angle was sweating like one of the cast of Cool Hand Luke. Flair worked hard (including taking a belly-to-belly on the floor), and the match wasn’t bad by any stretch, but it was mostly dominated by Angle, with even the announcers acknowledging that Angle was much better at this stage of the game. There was a cool spot where Flair bit Angle’s thumb to break an Angle STF because he’s the dirtiest player in the game. Angle eventually won with the ankle lock after Flair tapped after some time in the hold. **1/2
