07/24/2008: Strap Match: Beer Money def. Motorcity Machineguns in 7:52. The straps in this match were colorless and cheap, looking more like streamers than traditional wrestling straps. James Storm used them as a weapon at one point, realized they looked about as lethal as a lollipop, and quickly moved on. They worked really fast and did their best not to let the pairing tethers hurt the match, but they didn’t do much of anything to help it, either, especially without being able to use them as weapons. They basically acted as restraints on good talent, other than the occasional choking spot. Shane Sewell was accidentally bumped by the Machineguns, allowing Storm to use a pair of handcuffs on Alex Shelley for the win. **1/4
