The Context
There really isn’t any context to offer, other than Ole Anderson being a breathing bag of venom in an interview conducted by Ricky Morton. In this clip, Highspots has looped several clips of Ole cussing out famous and not-so-famous names in the business, set to music older than Ole came off here, which was roughly 120 years old of piss and vinegar.
He goes on about Ric Flair, peppering the phrase, “He’s the shits” into every sentence the way a skilled chef does with a fine cut of meat. You see, not only is he being an asshole, but, diabolically, he’s picking at Flair’s ring work, trying to hurt him in a way that may actually bother his intended target the most. The man is a black belt troll. Ole also called Flair an asshole, but more on that later.
Ole also went into detail about constantly turning down Vince’s advances to buy Georgia. He had Ricky Morton in stitches as he transcribed repeatedly telling Vince McMahon to fuck himself. The crescendo is Vince bringing Linda to meet Ole, and Ole telling Vince, “Fuck her and fuck you.” I believe even he referred to himself as a dumbshit for this.
Analysis
This is an all-time old wrestler raging right here. Who knows if any of it is true, other than Ole legit hating everyone he discussed because that seems to be his MO. He pushed Flair repeatedly while leading WCW, but things turned sour when Turner execs asked Flair in 1993 if either Bischoff or Ole should lead the company. Ole has had bad blood ever since Flair vouched for Biachoff, and it’s led to classic, hilarious rants like this one right here.
