08/11/1995 CMLL: Bestia Salvaje & Felino & Ray Gonzalez def. El Dandy & Negro Casas & Ultimo Dragon in 17:07. Gonzalez was the lesser worker on his team, but also very good at playing rudo, particularly with Dandy, with whom he was being set up for a feud. He was constantly picking up Dandy at two counts and just abusing him repeatedly. Casas pinned Salvaje with an elbow off the second rope, and Dragon defeated Felino with a beautiful moonsault to end the first fall. Gonzalez submitted Dandy in an abdominal stretch after the aforementioned pummeling in the second fall; then, Dandy was posted hard by Gonzalez on the outside. Felino also snuck in a nut shot on Dragon right before that finish. Dragon hit a big plancha from the top to the floor on Salvaje near the end of the third fall, and generally looked awesome. Gonzalez looked like he fucked up the finish when he hit a powerslam on Dandy, but got up before the ref finished counting, then had to cover him again for the win immediately. I understand they were building to Dandy vs. Gonzalez, but that technico team was stacked with talent, and the match would have been better off in a vacuum with them working Salvaje and Felino. **1/2
