03/24/1992 AJPW: Doug Furnas & Don Kroffat def. Joe & Dean Malenko in 14:09. The Can-Ams (Furnas and Kroffat) dominated most of the match, but Joe looked fucking awesome here, per usual. His forearm shots looked really good. he did a sequence where he transitioned into multiple submissions (before that would become more commonplace) and gave Furnas a beautiful German suplex that brought the house down as a nearfall. Kroffat and Furnas worked over each man for a bit and mauled them with a lot of power moves, even Kroffat, when they worked over Dean. Dean and Kroffat worked extremely well together towards the end (not surprisingly). Dean did a great hurancanrana on Kroffat out of a powerbomb, but the biggest nearfalls were Dean getting one tiger driver broken up, but then later kicking out of a second from Kroffat. Kroffat got pissed and threw a couple of kicks and finished Dean with an implant DDT. I love both of these teams. ***1/2
