WWF 10/18/1993: Marty Jannetty def. 1-2-3 Kid by CO in 7:23: They had a really fun and fast-paced babyface match for the era. Waltman seemed a little off, falling after a reversal sequence and stumbling on a nip-up, but the work was still good. They focused on a lot of mat wrestling and reversals until the highspots came out, including Kid hitting a somersault onto Jannetty from the top to the floor, sending his skinny legs crashing into the guardrail.  Holy shit, that was nuts, especially considering Waltman looked like he weighed about 175 lbs. at this time. Kid paid it no mind and eventually went for a suicide dive, and Jannetty moved, sending Kid to the floor – splat – for the countout loss. The pacing of this was fun, and it was a good idea to get Kid’s high-flying as not only dangerous for his opponents, but also for himself. It really helped him stand out in the land of giants. These two ended up as a short-term and underrated tag team after this. **3/4
