WCW Saturday Night: Sting & Dustin Rhodes def. Barry Windhan & Vader by DQ in 10:26

I fucking loved this match! Sting and Dustin took turns beating up Barry Windham to start. Windham had just been turned back heel and was about to win the NWA title, so he was in his bag here, bumping and selling his ass off despite being bigger than both babyfaces. Vader was just a fucking menace. He and Windham beat the shit out of Dustin, but you notice little things like instead of using something safe and straightforward like a stomp to cut Dustin off, he did a big belly flop splash on the man’s back. Dustin took a great inside-out bump from a big Vader clothesline. Dustin is huge and still looked great taking heat here. When Sting made the hot tag, Center Stage was losing its shit. It looked like he was about to put Barry in the scorpion, but Vader just plowed into Sting with his massive body. Dustin was kicking Harley’s ass on the floor just because! The heels attacked the ref for the DQ, and Vader repeatedly lashed Sting with a belt to set up their strap match at Superbrawl. Babyfaces tried to stop him, but Vader held his ground and practically dared them to charge him with the leather weapon in his hand. This was all fucking phenomenal. Their TV after Starrcade and before Watts leaves was so fucking good. Watch this match now! ****1/4
